Our audacious goal is to build the first school on Mars. If we were to build a future school, from 1st Principles, what would that look like?

Our horizon is bigger than any one city. The startups we cultivate now will benefit both future generations on Mars and current generations on Earth. It is not one or the other.

We set a high bar and concentrate resources on the 1–5% who show character, craft, and intent to multiply impact. “Best” means well-rounded builders who serve by leading.

We focus on under-30s as this is an underserved community. Our thesis is that younger people are easier to mould and educate (hence produce the greatest Return-on-Learning).

“Young” refers to individuals who are young at heart, first-time founders, and are rising talents.

The outcome is to build something from zero: a product, service, community, or company that creates lasting change. We believe that every young person should go through the zero-to-one process at least once in their lives.

If we send students to intern in a startup, or go for overseas trips, or attend conferences, it is with the hope that they eventually go ahead and build something; become a founder.
